Anyone?

Love my PS3 and don't want to buy an iTV if I have to. Recently bought iMac and gonna be sticking with it for a while. Both 'puters hooked up to t'internet via Netgear wireless modem/router.

So, how do I stream media from my iTunes and iPhoto to my telly, via my PS3. There must be a way, right?

Have discovered eyeconnect and medialink with a quick google search. No idea which is better. Anyone got any experience of either?

No idea on your question but nice one getting an iMac, great computer

i use tversity, also used twonkymedia and that was ok. personally haven't had to mess around with buffer sizes and i'm only on wireless G. did have a couple of stutters playing a high def file though so i'm weighing up the benefits of a move to a rangemax G+ router/adapter combo or wireless N. i must say that as a media centre the ps3 is exceleent for ease of use and features.

Yeah. It's great.

Slightly annoying that it won't play DRM tracks bought via iTunes but that's my own stupid fault for buying them in the first place.

Having a bit of trouble getting slideshows to work too but reckon I can sort that this evening, with a bit of tinkering.

To avoid that in the future Pogue, in itunes, go to Edit>Advanced>Preferences>Advanced>Click the importing tab>change the "Import using" option to "MP3 encoder".

Then visit this site where you can choose a programme(I think they're all much of a muchness once they're free) to remove the DRM from the music.http://www.undrm.info/faq/removing-DRM/faq-Remove-copy-protection-from-iTunes.htm

I'm told that means in future you will be able to use those songs anywhere/on other MP3 players etc.

Wowser. Didn't know you could remove DRM that easily. Great stuff.

Aye. I should say I've not used it myself, and am relying on the know-how of a techie housemate. But he says he used it, and it works perfectly.
