The sticky threads are constantly placed at the top and thereby getting more attention and they will never disappear because of inactivity.
Redlambs: Your thread was probably un-stickied in order to make room for Plech's Christmas story - so that half of general wouldn't exist of sticky threads.

All fair enough, I just wanted to know the reason, since it's not finished that's all. Considering I didn't ask for it to be stickied, it seems strange it was taken down all of a sudden, so I thought maybe there's an issue of something that crossed the line. That's more what I'm worried about.
