Is apparently out of contract in the summer. Could be an excellent addition, especially on a free.

What do you lot think?.

Plus he supports Everton rather than livershite, so he's a dirty scouse twat BUT he's a good dirty scouse twat who wouldn't mind leaving his belovid teams worst enemy and join a proper team !!!(apart from Crew !)

He's a decent player. What are Liverpool playing at???? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

I hear he might want to leave Liverpool this season...Everton are apparently after him to replace Abel Xavier...I think he'd be a great signing for us.

he´s only started a couple of games for wimblepool ffs ...

no former liverpool players at mufc ...

If the fans say we should get Stephen Wrigt what does that say that the fans think of Mikael Silvestre and Phil Neville?

Pity there weren't more like you around 50 years ago. Then we might have had Sir Matt to add to Shanks and Paisley.

You can't have him anyway he is in the process of signing a new contract

Apparently the deal is waiting for him to renew and he's said he'll sign it over the next month or so... according to his parents. :)

GOOD START TO THE DAY! :D

Stephen Wright has ended all speculation linking him with a summer move away from Anfield by signing a new three-year contract with the club.

The England Under-21 international was nearing the end of his contract this summer and there was tabloid speculation linking him with a move to a host of Premiership clubs, with Everton, Fulham and Newcastle all said to be interested in the right-back who can also play on the left.

A graduate of the Liverpool Youth Academy, Wright is enjoying his best ever season at Anfield and after making nine appearances for the first team this year, he follows in the footsteps of Michael Owen, Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher and Dietmar Hamann in committing his footballing future to the Reds.

Its a pity. We could do with another reserve defender now Michael Clegg has gone.
