Anyone here a fan of Stephen Chow movies? I prefer his older movies which I used to watch when I was a kid.

His movies are mostly trashy, but highly entertaining.

Shoalin Soccer was amusing as I recall.

It's been a few years now since I saw it, and I think I had to watch it dubbed into Thai, but I vaguely remember enjoying it.

His older movies are more enjoyable imo.

I'd recommend watching A Chinese Oddysey 1 and 2, God Of Cookery, Forbidden Cop, Flirty Scholar and and Fightback to School in no particular order.

VII are you Chinese? I do know for a fact that most of the Chinese I know (including myself) do not rate it among the best of his shows. Seems though that it's mostly the Westerners who really enjoy it.

Yes dumbo, God of Cookery is a highly entertaining movie.
