Apparently the Arse are interseted. Spurs want 15m. Not good for us, especially if he regains his form.

would Spurs really allow another of their players to go to Arsenal ? The fans would be in a rage. He is a good player though, and 15m is a fair price for him, if a bit inflated, especially as he has missed a lot of time over the past 18 months or so through injury. If he can get over his injury, he would slot in to any defence as the best right-back in the country, but that is a big if. Would rather see us sign Finnan if we were to sign a full-back, but can't see either joining this summer.

I think Spurs would let him go for the right price, but not to Arsenal. Its not even likely that the Arse would pay 15m for anyone much less Carr, whos been injured forever it seems.

Yeah, Carr has been unlucky. He was / is a great defender who had a bit of bad luck which fecked up what was a blooming career. Still, he is only 25 / 26 so he has time on his side, and he will hopefully have a good year next season. I doubt Spurs will sell him this summer, though I don't see him at the Lane in the summer of 2003. If Spurs did let him leave, I think they would allow him to go for around 8-12m.
