Luke Steele and Eddie Johnson have been called into the England Under-18 squad for next month's tournament in Portugal. :D

The competition in Lisbon runs from from June 3 to June 10.

Haven't heard a lot about this boy Johnson. He's a striker who has apparently been with us since 16.

To tell you the truth, Eddie Johnson is a good younger striker, but he will never make it to the first team. Does not have anything in his game that makes him stand out. He is well built and strong and scores goals in the U-17's, but thats about it really.

Luke Steele recently made his Football League debut for Peterborough against Reading - as a seventeen year old. Despite being beaten twice by Reading striker Nicky Forster he was highly impressive. He looked nervous early on (particuarly with his kicking) but made some great saves in the second half.

Dont you just love to know that the guys in the youth team are doing well? You never know! we could be talking about the next Beckham or Giggs.
