I dont think anyones kidding themselves that we're anywhere near back to our best but at least the stats make nicer reading:

* Only 1 defeat in 11 and that was our reserve side
* In those 11 games are goals for average has risen to 2.3, compared to 1.8 for the season
* Uneabten in 6 league games (4 wins, 2 draws)
* No clean sheet in 5
* Diego has scored 2 of our last 3 goals...

:D

The hard work and hunger appears to have to returned. Confidence is building. Quality will naturally follow.

amazing, if you ask me

How many of them were scored when we were playing 4-4-1-1? ;)

I don't question the players hunger this season at all, it looks like they have been trying, even when they was losing! I just think that the fact Fergie got it wrong tactically quite a few times thus far this season is why we suffered some setbacks! IF it ain't broke then why fix it?

It also means it takes us 75 minutes to score one feckin' goal and everyone knows half the squad is or has been injured.

I would be prepared for a long season of boring 10-man-knee-high-hard-tackling-defending from all our rivals.
