If it ever feckin' decides to be released, anyone here going to get it?

I've always loved RTS games, was a big fan of the Command and Conquer series (mainly the earlier ones) and enjoyed DoW40k for a few months.

I'm looking forward to this. Haven't really played a game online properly for a couple of years now, look forward to regressing a few years so I can pwn sum n00bz lulz.

Definitely. Ive been a big follower of all the blizzard games since the original Starcraft, looking forward to SC2, moreso Diablo 2.

I am waiting for it as well but a bit annoyed they are so far refusing to listen to the original players and not including a LAN play option.

Erm Diablo 2, wasn't that years ago?

The Beta version is out now so the full release can't be more than a few months away.

Saying that, Blizzard are famous for not rushing things.

Shit. Is that how long Beta testing usually lasts?

I was hoping it would be earlier than that.

Korea are still playing it in their professional leagues but not sure how they will take to losing the LAN option in the new version.

From what they have said they are looking for players to be using their battlenet system but no real details on how this will work for the LAN scene.

The Ghetto » Battle.net 2.0: The Antithesis of Consumer Confidence

This is some guy going apeshit about how Activision-Blizzard have screwed up Starcraft II. I agree with most of what he says and his complaints. I'm tired of Activision fecking with games because all they do is damage them. LAN is a major part of SC, but now Activision-Blizz wants to control every aspect of the game and what players can do with it.

I'm not buying it, but I also didn't by COD:MW2 because it's just a bastardized console port on pc.

That's really killed my excitement for it.

Saw an Ad last night while driving that its being released on July 27th  my mate signed up to test the beta version, so i'll have to inquire about it.

I'll need to get a new computer though. The one i'm currently using can barely run FM10 (choppy, slow loading) so $500 will get me this:

AMD PHENOM II x 4 955 QUAD CORE 3.2G ASUS M4A77TD Motherboard
46 DDR3 memory
1T hard drive
22x DVDRW +/- dual layer drive
HD 4350 512M PCI E Video Card
GIGABIT Lan onboard
8 channel HD audio onboard
INWIN ATX case and Power Supply
Keyboard/mouse
Speakers

is it worth $500 canadian Dollars?
