Take a Bow and a pat on the back.

Like a Good wine you mature with age.

Your a class player and I hope the knockers and doubters will get off your back and see you for the class act that you are.

In my view you are the best player that Manchester United have brought through their books since Best and a country mile ahead of your competition.

At present Phil Neville is in better form then his brother Gary has ever done in a Utd Shirt. His role in midfield has brought out atotally new player.

We never knew he could tackle, pass, dummy and act as a defensive midfielder. ;)

according to some we should sell giggs, scholes and becks and keep veron......

The only thing I would sell at present is the sod at Old Trafford. It will be worth a fortune when Utd lift the Champions League Trophy against Real there in May.

After half a game of playing well, he's suddenly the best player we ever had again - lets not go overboard and ignore the rest of his performances. Maybe a case can be made that it takes quite a few games for Ryan to get going, and if thats the case then we can expect to see lots more of these performances now. No one doubts what he can do on his day, its just his hunger to do that consistently and give 100% throughout games that has been questionable.

In the Mirror Giggs has got Utd's Man of the Match already in 5 games this Season (including Europe. His ratings have also being consistant.

Its plastic Fans like you Thomson that are wrecking this club ;)

I don't hink anyone can question his hunger. He's red through to the bone! But surely the consistency problem is part of the player he is. george best was never consistent, but he was worth it for the one flash that could win a game. RG is the same sort of player. Remember the semi against the Arse. He is one of the few players in the world who could score a goal like that!
Anyway, who is going to replace him. IMO, we never look as good without Giggs.

In the ratings on this forum he hasn't. When the player ratings app works we'll have to feed in the ratings from the past games and see how he's fared. Giggzy is my favourite player and its an insult to him to suggest that he's played as well this season as he can at his best.

Draw your own conclusions as to who that might be. ;)

Giggzy's skill has never been in question. That's why people get so frustrated.

His reputation would suffer less if he wasn't asked to play as a striker. It has worked at times, but Giggs is a creator, an artiste! He needs to run at defenders down flanks, create goals for others, and occasionally show a flash of brilliance of his own.

About Bloody time, thank you for this post. Giggsy will always be one of our greatest sons.. not only for what he does on the pitch,.. but off aswell.

I think we will all be delighted if Giggs can constantly perform like he did in the 2nd half against Charlton.

However, tho' I wudn't question his commitment, as I've always been impressed with his chasing back regardless of his his form, he has disappointed many times b4, especially with his crossing & to a lesser extent, his shooting.

He can dribble past 2-3 players with consumate ease but his crosses so often fail to even beat the first defender & that's unacceptable for a player of his calibre!

The irony is, I think his corners & freekicks, if he's given a chance, are as effective, if not more consistent than Beck's latest offerings!

That's why it's been a pleasant change to finally see other players, i.e. Giggs, Veron & Ole recently taking turns with Becks to take free-kicks & corners, a matter I was mooting a few weeks back! :)

If you saw George play...........which I doubt! Giggsy just isn't in the same league...........he is not consistent enough........what we have seen of late we should see EVERY game...........Man Utd will still be the best when these players have come and gone............they should give it their 'all' every game! They are the privileged ones playing in a great team now!

Come on Giggs! Do u deserve to be in the same league as George.....lets see you prove it then!

I think it's quite alot harder to cross when you've just beaten 1 - 3 players then if you loft one in from 25 yards out while not a full speed. It's not as easy as it looks.

I think some of the critizes he received have their points. He has obviously lost a lot of pace and his contribution in the earlier matches this season was below average. However, he is still a very special player. He has the flair to do something that none (or very few) of other players can do. Hope he keep up his perfromance and refrain from being injured again, because a Ryan Giggs at good standard is the difference between a draw or a win of a game.

such blasphemy! Giggs is good because of the other things he does. Setting up his teamates, scaring the hell out of the defense when they see him coming etc. As I have said before, his goal scoring ( when it happens) is a bonus. ;)
Getting rid of Giggs, Scholes and Becks would definately mean the end of the dynasty at Old Trafford and I don't think anyone is ready to concede to Arsenal just yet are they? Didn't think so.

Darko, it's a bit much to accept that.

Giggs is not your Sunday League player. He's considered World-Class & there are far worser players who cross more consistently than he does.

On top of that, he used to cross superbly in the first few years after he burst into the scene! :(

Just for interest sake, who said this? I say we ban them.

giggs is the best dribbler of the ball at manchester united and the only one who can get past 3 or 4 devenders

I never doubt Giggsy. I mean, it's not his fault when he was prevented from playing his natural position! :(
