Stam, now linked to Inter Milan

Inter had requested the purchase of two other Lazio players with no luck. Now they are inquiring about Japp. I'd bet that doesn't make Stam all that happy being third choice.

Maybe Lazio can pay MU for their purchase by selling him to someone else. (that's if the thread below about Lazio not paying MU for Stam is true, I know there was a delay but I couldn't see them waiting this long to make good on the transfer.)

Stam has been quoted as saying (opta news) that he has NO desire to return to England.

I wonder why he is so put off by the idea...maybe he further explains at his personal site at icons.
 
Inter certainly need a top-notch defender.

Stam would be a great addition anyway, practically in any team.

Well, Stam didn't embelish upon the news reports about his lack of interest in returning to england other than, he'd like to spend a couple of years more in Italy.
