What an effort from him.. one of the best performances i've seen from an Indian bowler abroad. This is what i love now, swing and pace conducive pitches actually suit us now. That in itself is a huge achievement for Indian cricket. The commentators went on about his seam position.. is it really that rare to have such a perfect upright seam position?

That's nothing to brag about.
You would like that wouldnt you?

I thought his little dance and taunt infront of Ne it was hilarious. Ravi Shastri fell of his chair. Nel is possibly the most irritating person to ever step on to a cricket pitch.

He's a character, thats for sure...I thought of Miandad and his kangaroo act when I saw Sreesanth...he he...The kid's the best young prospect we have right now out of the RP's VRV's and the like...

Commentators were falling off their chairs. The ball before Nel hit him on the wrist or chest and did his usual bickering, something about you dont have the heart for the fight. And then this..

Reminded me of Dravid and his six on Donald over his head in the ODI's 10 years ago...what a fecking shot.Donald shut up for good after that...

Dravid was a bit more dignified about it...err..that is to say he didn't start to think he was a copter.

But Dravid used to get quite bullied back then by the South Africans. We've never quite had someone like Sreesanth. Ganguly as a captain had that agression which is why most indian fans love him. The whole shirt waving at Lords. But this guy must be brilliant for the dressing room atmosphere.

That was hilarious.

It's a shock he's ever played for India, having sledged Sachin in a domestic game.

It was a Challenger trophy match, don't know exactly when.

What Sreesanth did made Nel look a right gimp.

He has a bizzare bowling action with minimal use of his front arm, and this causes his deliveries to drift towards leg side.

Other than that, I don't have an opinion on him.

Thats actually a strange summary of his action because he barely bowls anything down the leg side. Basically Donald, Shastri, Gavaskar and co. have been creaming themselves over his release of the ball and seam position. So cant be all bad.

Apparently, when his LBW appeal was turned down in one of the warm-up games, he had his hands on his face shouting "Ayyo ayyo ayyayoo"

His seam position is superb, yes.

He strayed now and then in the first innings, and definitely needs to do more with his left arm.

Yes apparently that happened.
