From the manutd.com site:

Goalkeepers: Roy Carroll, Ricardo Lopez, Ben Williams
Defenders: Lee Roche, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, David May, John O'Shea, Rio Ferdinand, Mikael Silvestre, Mark Lynch
Midfielders: Kieran Richardson, Danny Pugh, Paul Scholes, Quinton Fortune, Mads Timm
Forwards: Diego Forlan, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Daniel Nardiello.

Looking forward to seeing how O'Shea/Ferdinand link up and from Saturday's match, looks like Rio could use another match under his belt. I'd rather not see Scholesy play though. If he gets injured, we'll be absolutely screwed in midfield. Would have preferred seeing Ole/Silvestre rested as well. (I know...that wouldn't leave us with much of a team but the league needs to be our top priority right now.)

Fine, so David May will stay home and we'll have 18...

We'll probably be starting with all the regulars who travelled, so it'll be a back four of Gary, Silvestre, Rio and O'Shea. Forlan and Ole upfront, with Phil, Scholes, Fortune and god knows who else in midfield. Ricardo in goal I suppose.

We'll lose.

feckin' stupid
:mad:

there's more to this game than just the 3 points.
we need a good run of results, and all we have to show for compared to other consistent sides in the league is the poor unbeaten run we've somehow gathered (8 games that include 2 draws and beating mediocre sides in europe).
Now we could even lose that, and that will not be the confidence booster we need.
A reasonable midfield could have helped Forlan build on saturday. What kind of service is he going to get on tuesday?

:(

Ricardo;
GNeville, Rio, O'Shea, Silvestre;
Fortune, Scholes, Pneville, Richardson;
Forlan, Solskjaer

will be the team. Shame, i was hoping Timm was in the squad.

We took 19 lads, 11 to start, 7 to be on the bench. Ben Williams will be the odd man out, so Timm will be on the bench.
