All congratulations to Ryan Giggs for winning, but did anyone like me feel sorry for Jenson Button? I don't think Ryan expected to win either.

When McLaren gave the job to Lewis, they looked at the available drivers including Jenson and decided none were good enough.

I've always thought with Jenson that his platform in the Honda days was the problem.

And no I didn't feel sorry for Jenson, he achieved his aim. I don't think there's anything wrong with recognising someone's sustained period of service, than just a year of it. Even in an award like this
