Splinter Cell Conviction Problem

Now I installed the game however at the system validation part I'm getting an error

"2 GB RAM needed"

Now I already have 2GB ddr3 RAM in my machine on Windows 7 64 bit but it's still giving the error. And it crashes after this. What do I do to start the game?

Ok did a dual boot and got it working on XP now.
