In line with the theme of the forum naturally. If not words, maybe the faces/photos of those lost, going from left to right across the top say.

I'm no artist myself, don't even have Photoshop but um...thought it might be something to consider.

In the same vein that there was a Champions one, and people put together some versions for Ole's retirement as i recall.

I'll have a go - what size are you after?

I've done the banners at finalscoreforums.com, so if that's the sort of quality you're after, them let me know. Delete the link if you want - I'm only referencing, not advertising them!

Good idea. The Ole bit, unfortunately, never got done. This one should and would be criminal not to. Maybe a quick competition allowing our best photoshop artists a chance to come up with something nice, perhaps.

Yeah, good idea too, there should be more then enough time to have a competiiton.

Get it all agreed upon before the end of the month perhaps.

Don't know whether the Mods will decide amongst themselves, or put it out to a vote maybe.

Not really my call, more up to the Mods, and the masses even.

Though as goes the size, a starting point would probably be similar to what we have now, though there should be scope and depending on the type/style of header, banner, whatever, maybe the need to go beyond that.

All depends on how flexible the Mods care to be, they won't want it to be too out of proportion. However i reckon there is room for maneuver in terms of both a height and width , but that's JMO.

Have to see if they run with the idea or not first.

:)

There's one for you to consider, would mean taking up more space on the top banner obviously

That's very good, Brad. It'll fit perfectly as well i think.

That was exactly what I had in mind, having seen it elsewhere as well. Maybe the Caf's logo could be temporarily sacrificed to make way for some wordings to go with that.

Perhaps, you want to be careful going too far though, any additional wording would have to be thoughtful and classy, you don't want to Diana-fy this into an 'event'. If there is even a temporary change in the Caf logo, it wants to be simple and effective. Perhaps even just blacking out the logo. Just my thoughts anyway

Agreed. Simplicity and class above the need for flash.

I like it Brad, just what is needed.

Understated is the word I think is most apt.

Good work.

Just an idea, but perhaps the Munich clock could be put into place somewhere?

Nice idea.

I like it Brad, definitely will put something up and that fits the bill...

Good point GB.

No taller than 70px, width can be around 400 - 450px.

So Brad, you'll need to shave 10 pixels off the height of your image.... :)

While your here... Will the banner need the "Unofficial Manchester...." and the RedCafe sign next to it as well?

Yeah if you can keep the RedCafe.net logo in it would be good, but it can be sized down

Yeah, these would all be right for it, and that is what i was getting at, with the photo you have used.

*thumbs up* to Brad and Rudie.

Ok Brad's image it is - up and running.

Thanks Brad!

Looks great up there Brad.

Nice work fella.

Nice work Brad.

Could've been better, but still good.
