Just a thought after looking at the best team of the 90's, sparky was a good sorry great player but i always felt with his strengh aggression and holding play he may have been better serving in the central midfield role. Hughes started out as a midfielder. I guess someone figured his aggression would serve us better up front. That and his unmatched ability to volley the ball with unrivalled power into the net.
