Shame Ercolani isn't in the team, would've liked to see him more than Dunne.

Oh yeah Baars as well of course.

Kenyon and Baars??

Basically confirm Gribbin, Warren and Buffonge's promotion to the U23s.

Extremely young team with only Hamilton and Whelan not eligible for next year.

Quite a few of the others getting the headlines, but Gribbin is the best player in the U18's in my opinion.

Well he's certainly the most advanced in the development stage along with Williams. His goalscoring form since coming back proved that.

The Youth Cup exited highlighted all of Gribbin's flaws.

Gomes is already a better all round player.

I have to disagree with you, Gribbin plays with more maturity than anyone else in that age group. I also went to the Youth Cup game you mention above and Gribbin was the best player on the pitch.

Hes been excellent in most of his u18 games this year but in the youth cup game he had 1 pass which opened up the play and led to the first goal but other than that he probably wasn't even in the top 5 United players on the pitch. He saw plenty of the ball but did little with it and showed very little in terms of urgency or maturity in his play and himself and Hamilton slowed down play a number of times which ended promising moves.

I disagree, he saw plenty of the ball, because he always went looking for it, his range of passing was also superb, granted it didn't always come off, but at least he was trying to make things happen.

Anyway, the fact we watched the same game and came away with different opinion's is what makes football such a great sport.

United won their 1st match 6-0 vs JSG Hainberg. Goals from Gomes, Tanner, Boonen, O'Connor, Burkart & Bohui

Missed our first match, next one starts in 25 minutes, definitely watching that.

Dann it, only just realised that the Cup on Sport1 is actually a different one!
So I'm not able to watch it after all.

Won the 2nd game 3-0 vs JSG Nieste. Goals from Chong x2 & Gomes

Moutha-Sebtaoui picked up an injury. Didn´look good for him. Bad twist of his ankle.

Edit: Won 4:2 against HSV. Goals from Boonen (2x), Burkart and i think Barlow

Last game for United today ended with a 4:2 win against Göttingen. Didn´t play particularly well, considering the quality of the opponent.

It was a good come back from 2-0 down. Lost 1, won 4 now I think.

Final to be played at 15:45. They've been excellent all the way to this point. Gomes playing a bit like a quaterback. Boonen, Bohui, Chong, Burkart, Barlow in particular have played really well but there's been lots of contributions. It's a really skillful bunch we have.

When we're attacking we take the goalkeeper off and bring on Gomes as our deepest player. Then when we're defending Gomes and the keeper quickly switch back.

Great result. Mad penalty shoot-out. Was something like 13-12 in the end? And we had Calum Whelan in goal.

What a strange interview with Moutha-Sebtaoui. At least the interviewer thinks he looks good...
