With the wonderful show the Spanish team had in this Euros, the talent is there, is there incentive for Pep to do one more year at Manchester City and push for a World Cup title?

He is a proud Catalanion, hes said it himself. More chance of Soutgate managing Barcelona

He wants to manage Brazil I think, could see that after 2026.

Pep would just be Enrique on steroids and with no endless supply of cash to buy whoever he wants, the project would get boring quickly. They needed De La Fuente to win this tournament and De La Fuente is no Pep stylistically.

Maybe if de la Fuente gets pinched by Athletic. Otherwise he's made the perfect case to bring Spain to the next World Cup as one of the favourites.

That's like asking a proud Scot to manage England.
