South Africa v Lions

Actually the way it is going at the minute, Im sorry i bothered. Being completely outmuscled....

Monye was practically jogging there instead of busting his balls for the line! feck me!

unlucky lions - if they had started playing like that 5 minutes earlier....

monye missed a couple of opportunites

They need to sort the front row out. Personally I'd like to see Sheridan go in for his power.

Epic comeback though, gutted they couldn't quite pull it off.

we only got back in the game becuase the mian boys got taken off though!! I feel with the ball we penetrate them well and push up the game line consistently - but scum, line outs and breakdowns are dominated by the boks.....remember when england won a world cup for being strong up front?!!!? I just think SA are too powerful for us!!

This is a weird feeling, but it doesn't actually feel like a loss. This is exactly how I felt after the first leg against Roma in 2007.

I just hope we learn how to cut out those stupid fecking mistakes though. If we do that then I think we'll win next week. Vickery can't possibly play next week, he was diabolical. It's harsh to say but I think he lost us that.

^^^^This.

Also I thought the ref had a shocker. So many penalties against the Lions.

As one of the vilest countries on Earth it's no surprise the dirty feckers aren't above paying off referees.

I'm quite sure they didn't pay off the referees. That nasty bastard at the start should have been shown a red though, not a yellow. You can't try and gouge someone's eyes out and only take ten minutes for it. To be honest, though, I thought the ref handled things fairly well.

It wasn't his fault O'Gara - having also been at fault moments earlier for the try with his inept attempt at a tackle - decided it would be a good idea to take the man out in the air when all they had to do was score the resulting penalty to win. Useless fecking cnut.

Losing O'Driscoll, Roberts and Jerkins really hurt with 25 mins left. Schalk Burger should have gone and that decision at the end was not a penalty.

We should have been a man up after a minute. Gutted, decent game though, and we really gave them a tough time in both games so far.

feck off you tosser, what about vickery's performance in the first test

What about him? Is that meant to be some sort of riposte because he's English? I couldn't give two shits about Vickery right now - he was fecking wank and was rightfully dropped. I doubt he'll play for the Lions again.

I can only hope that the same happens to O'Gara.

dont cry about the refs lions fans, or do you forget the way you tied against us two years ago? the ref deprive us of the honour to be the first team to beat the lions in the islands

What the hell was O'Gara thinking yesterday? Very unlucky to lose. O'Driscoll was a big loss.

Rob Kearney has showed that he really is world class.
