The new film by Duncan Jones is coming out soon.

Thoughts? The premise seems quite goofy but apparantly it's been getting really good reviews so far, and Moon gives Jones a hefty slice of benefit of the doubt. I'll probably go see it.

Yep, looks awesome. Moon was a fabulous film so I have faith in Duncan. Great reviews to go along with that make me even more hyped.

Need to watch this. Duncan Jones seems to be carving out a good rep for himself. Moon was great and this looks promising.

Saw this today, it was alright, my high expectations probably effected my view on it though.

It's more a wait for it to be on Sky Movies film for me.

Yeah I was the same, watched it last night and was actually pretty disappointed with it considering some of the hype.

Decent movie but nothing more.

Though exactly the same - enjoyed it but wasn't great. Thought the same about Moon but most of my friends disagree and think it's amazing.

Saw it today, could have been so much better. It was quite enjoyable, but I expected more.

watched an hour, boring as feck and fell asleep

watched it

very disappointed after reading 1 or 2 reviews on here

interesting idea but poor movie - a bit stupid at the end i felt

Yeah, I remember the scene where Bill Murray had to stop the groundhog from blowing up a train. Nailbiting stuff.

The whole concept of Source Code is essentially Groundhog Day. And a film like this, like Inception, rides on the ability to intrigue the audience with the concept. When that is made redundant, all is left is, from the looks of it, a poor thriller with plenty of plot holes.

Err, have you even seen the film? It's feck all like Groundhog Day. I wouldnt say it has any noticeable plot holes either and it's not a poor film, like weve all said its decent enough but we expected more.

The problem I had is it's not an interesting idea. It's a potentially interesting idea, put into an entirely uninteresting scenario, and removed from the path of originality by the inclusion of "I must save the girl" syndrome.

In other words, I think it looks shit.

It does have at least 1 plot hole for me.

Since it's about the multiverse theory, he essentially has killed the original Sean and is living the life of Sean without knowing anything of his previous life. He couldn't do the guys job, he wouldn't know his family...

I actually haven't but my friends that have seen it tell me there are plenty of plot holes in the film. I suppose I was being a tad presumptuous but is the concept not the same? The idea of being stuck in a certain time frame to accomplish something before being released?

I would have love to have gone to the premiere and punch that twat Jake Gyllenthal right in the face
