Ah yes, I didn't have a clue what you were talking about in that other thread, now it's all clear.

I can't remember if it's called 'HOME' or not, but you are right, it's meant to be a 3D virtual world, quite similar to 'Second Life' if you have played that. It's not so much like LIVE, because it goes into far more depth really. I'm not sure if it's going to work, but it's about as personal as you can get really.
 
I am looking forward to sitting in a virtual room on a virtual sofa playing a virtual psp whilst talking to virtual people and leeting them watch my virtual films.

I am also looking forward to having my penis torn off by a polar bear

i got the new one on friday, really cool little bit of kit, I especially like the fact I can connect it to my PS3 and remote play stuff (handy for when the missus is watching trinny and susannah/next top model/what not to wear/10 years younger/how to look good naked/you are what you eat etc)

didnt manage to get the ps1 games I have downloaded on to the ps3 to work on it yet, but I will work that out this week

i have the original psp (not the slim one)

if you buy it and can't be arsed to flash the official firmware of the psp, you can play music, games, widescreen videos with its large 4inch lcd screen and you can surf the net with wifi as well

however if you manage to downgrade the official sony firmware and install a custom firmware, you can virtually do anything with homebrew stuff...like download psp games off torrents, run emulators to play nes/snes/genesis/gameboy advanced/n64 games, and it can even play playstation 1 games without the need of buying a ps3...it can even run windows 95 :lol:

the graphics of the psp is a lot better than the ps1, and just slightly lower than the ps2

all in all i'm happy with the psp, especially if i'm sitting in a bus or train, and need to kill time with something
