Well yesterday's match really intrigued me. The first half infact the first 30 minutes was great. Excellent passing, rushing on the ball, winning the tackles and just not letting the Hammers play leading to them making mistakes...FInally leading to our goal.

Second half..Just sitting back, letting the Hammers pass, no real pressure on their midfield noone taking on players (except JOS atleast three times!!!!!!) . We needed a win and history should have told us that we ALWAYS concede goals like this against them.

In addition fergie saw that and insisted on keeping Brown for the whole game (who was brilliant but obviously lacking match practise). FOrtune was beginning to tire in his new position and we really needed some freshness.

We lost the points..Yes it was offside..But come on..The Hammers were really over us and close through two other offsides and other chances.

Why play a 4 4 2 with two ball playing midfielders and defend? Or if you have to defend...take one of the strikers off and bring on another defensive midfielder?

what wld u have done in his shoes?

However keep in mind that it's easier to assess the situation now on hindsight ;)
