Parma ponder big cash offer for Man Utd striker Solskjaer

Parma are considering a bid for Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Club chief Arrigo Sacchi is contemplating using money raised from the double sale of Adrian Mutu and Adriano on the Norwegian when the summer transfer window opens.

Solskjaer is rated highly by Parma trainer Cesare Prandelli and the Italian club hopes that a serious offer will tempt United into cashing in on a player who is now 30 years of age.

Prandelli and Sacchi plan to offer Solskjaer a leadership role and hope the Norwegian can use his experience to guide their young team next season.

who r they sellinh Mutu & Adriano to? Both though not really very good player but I really can't see Parma selling both ( I think both are their main strikers this season ) and spend 15min on a 30-year old that haven't played in Serie-A before <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[No No]" />

The Mutu guy ... except his hot temper - is quite a class player with plenty of skills and pace. Not saying that we would like him though ..

Well he chose to stay before. Depends on whether Fergie wants him to go or not. I would hope that if he wanted to stay, Fergie wouldn't treat him the same way he treated Yorke.
