Who is our best forward/striker?

Is it the Viking, or is it the Flying Dutchman?

And WHY do you think so?

no one is better, i love united, i support em all, i rate all of em the same. <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

My vote will be on Solskjaer. Although Nistelrooy was the better shot range finisher, lots of goals were assisted by Ole. I remember most of the time United won narrowly by 1 goal, those goals were assisted or Scored by Ole. His calm mind in the game is outstanding and always rescueing the team.

Altho I think Ole is vastly under-rated because he is just associated with scoring, I do think Ruud is the complete centre-forward.

He works hard, he's more often than not in the right place, he's skilful, and he can create as well. Ole also has those qualities, but Ruud has physical presence, which Ole doesn't.

Ole. Can create and score goals as well as being versatile enough to play in a variety of striker and wing positions. Nobody plays the off-shoulder ball better than our baby-faced assasin.

Ole is fast and keep scoring. Ruud is accurate and killer. They just simply the best for united.

But, I will never forget Ole's goal in 1999 Champions League Final, He is my HERO!!! ;)

Hmmm, something you want to tell us Raoul?

based on the limits of your question Ie best Forward/Striker i would say RVN. However OLE is more versitile and an overall better player IMO

You fickle lot. :)

A couple of weeks ago Ole was back to only being any good as a sub. Now he's getting support for being equal to/better than Ruud.

If it makes you happier I still think Ruud is the better player - tho I've always rated Ole (ok, not when we bought him, but then I had never even heard his name).

;)

Ruud. Ole lack his physical presence, and he's also older than Ruud. Though both are incredibly good strikers, I've always said so. And they have a good understanding too.

The title lead me think it was a behind-the-training ground type of fight here ;)
Ruud I reckon, though my mum says she prefers Ole as he scores a lot but is under-rated.

I agree with you and your mum.
