"jens" was very critical of Sol Campbell. I have to say I'm getting pretty tired of all this uninformed, biased, and constant bashing of Sol on this board.
I have one question: Who would you rather have in your defense: Sol Campbell or Larry Blanc? I know what my answer would be.
Sol has done an exceptional job for Arsenal this season. Wenger has described him as a "ROCK" in Arsenal's defense. And Wenger's not wrong.
Sol Campbell has been the one constant in an ever-changing Arsenal defense this year. Their backline has changed constantly, but he's always been there.
If you don't appreciate what Campbell's brought to Arsenal, then you know nothing about football.
