Soft bookings

I’m not sure why.

But this season, I swear we have consistently got more soft yellow (and some red) cards than any other club I’ve seen.

Every match, we seem to get at least one or two bookings that are hardly even fouls. And it feels like other clubs do far more dangerous and cynical tackles without equivalent punishment.

Am I correct about this or heavily biased? If the former, why now?
 
It certainly feels this way but I’d imagine we’d have to ask a relatively neutral opposition fan who watches enough United games to get a based unbiased opinion… which is not very likely.

I’m certainly more frustrated about these than I ever was in all of my time watching United if it counts for anything.
