Wont it be a little while longer after the WC has finished?

I think Fergie has yet to return from holiday and once he does the signings and negotiations will be full steam ahead.
 
We 'signed' Stam and RVN on July one, but both transfers were announced way before. July 1 is more a technical date rather than one that means anything.

We won't sign anyone tomorrow, probably. At least there isn't a chance we'll do it on July 1 rather than June 30 or July 2.
 
well because of the world cup i still think signings will be announced on the 5th july.
 
maybe fergie agrees to sell veron for the smae price he got him in order to get nesta on the cheap, maybe straight swap.
