...who will win Keane and his one mate or Rio and all his?

So what do you do with Keane? Youve got to hold on to him until at least Chrimbo...

We'll hold on to Keane at least until his contract expires! <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

Why to teach him a lesson or to make sure the next manager has no chance of having any success?

has to be really, doesn't it?

£30M investment in a good young player who'll be around for years vs keane who seems to be alienating just about everybody and who, in all honesty, has his best years behind him.

can definitely see keane doing a cantona and retiring young. . .

Do tell all about this 'dressing room unrest'. Sounds interesting! Enlighten us. Got to listen with you having it bugged an all! Has Fergie confessed this in your frequent man to man chats? Can't wait!

fat boy has his inside info on every club in the league with all his info being the bad points about them but liverpool are made out to be nicer than nice with a huge transfer kitty to spend

But then Softy wouldn't have known this as he is so busy digging up dirt on other teams!

I would have thought you lot would all know about the in fighting at your club, much more serious than the odd 'sulking player', there's a serious divide in the Man Utd dressing room which Keane's repeated comments, serialisations, outbursts and generally abusive 'I'm bigger than the club' style attitude has helped escalate.

Keane is rapidly finding himself alienated in the dressing room and the lads who all came through together/England bunch are sick and tired of him.

Prime case, Neville against Sunderland. Yes he was playing shit, yes he should have walked but Demento knows that his confidence is low and didn't want Keane bullying him in front of 40,000 opposition fans.

He recieved a major dressing down for his behaviour that day, not just the McAteer incident, and his comments over the last two seasons, some of which are repeated in his book, are beginning to piss the rest of the squad off.

Ask your contacts at Carrington to confirm this.

Rio and he are both head strong, they don't get on at all and Rio is taking the moral high ground and appears to be winning.

I don't think anyone can presume to know what goes on in any club's dressing room. No point speculating really.

Rio's been at the club 2 minutes. Keano's a legend. Somehow I can't see Rio shouting his mouth off. He's still learning about his team mates and fitting into the team. He has no personal axe to grinde and vice versa with Keane.

I sense some mischief making afoot. ;)

The big test will be when Keane returns. I've been impressed with Rio so far. He's wasted no time in becoming a leader. The general belief was that the Keane saga had caused some unrest in the dressing room so if harmony is returned while he's away, it will be interesting to see what happens when he returns in 6 week or so.
Will he be given the captaincy back.
Will he still have the respect of the players.
The way Rio has started, i can't see any reason why he won't be given the captaincy from the start of next season.

the only truth in that crock of shite is keane got a dressing down by fergie and fined 2 weeks wages which is normal for the sending off

as for the rio stuff <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

if there is something you can't blame Keano for its that.......

I think Rio will be captain, possibly from next season. The way he has settled in has really impressed me. He very vocal and is not afraid to tell more established players when they've made a mistake or what he expects of them. I think Keane went a little bit too far in pushing Phil neville. It's fine for the captain to bollock the player if he's made a silly mistake but Keane went to far.
