So Arsene thinks Arsenal can come away with at least one point at Old Trafford?! He has got to be kidding to even be talking publicly like that.

Sure, it has been a very disappointing season for us and credit must go to Arsenal if they become champions as they will have done it by simply being the best and most consistently good team in the Premiership.

The Red Devils should have been in a much better position with all the talent at Sir Alex`s disposal. An indifferent run last year has almost cost us the championship but I say almost as it is not over yet.

I would be surprised if Arsenal get one point at Old Trafford as Manchester United will be going all out to wallop them into oblivion on the home turf. Maybe Manchester United won`t win the League but Arsenal bloody well won`t win it at Old Trafford!!!!!

I totally agree,

Losing the championship is one thing, but to lose it at OT would be devastating.

And when we do win on the 8th, Arse will still need more than a draw against the Toffees (as long as we do Charlton). It aint over till the the fat lady sings, and Alison Moyet isn't even doing her vocal exercises yet.

Come on united!

I like you style.
I think we will stuff the Arse good and proper, how about 3-0 ?

Temper temper now

Personally, I always feared HAVING to get a result at OT ( a win ) but have also believed if we did not need to we would, if we have 80% our full side ( unlike last years reserve team - UNARGUABLE), win with some comfort .

Should still be a very good game and of course your pride will want you to at least make us take it to Highbury but I feel we will get at least a point at OT .

I would say our attack has got weaker (without the world's currently most on- form creative player, Pires )but defensively we have got stronger and stronger .

Defensively , I cannot see you keeping us out of your goal for 90 mins and I can see us limiting you to fewer chances than normal .

Lets face it, you are not two steps in front anymore - our squad has the same depth as yours and regarding world class performers we are about equal.

It's been a great race and one that I agree is NOT yet over, but it don't get as close to being over as this .

If it were reversed I think you'd justifiably be feeling very very confident.

3-1 to the Arse on the 8th ;)

I hope your team, like you, remembers that going into a game brimming with overconfidence is always a good thing.

;)

Time to put the losers in their place again. I think letting them win 1 title every 10 years has gone to their heads.

Barring upsets this would Arsenal's fourth title in the past 13 years.

Not beyond the realms of possibility if we make Glasgow tonight. With nothing at stake, I certainly believe Giggsy and 1 or 2 others should be saved for the big game against Real.

If you win, it'd be due to us resting players.

Bums always need their time in the sun, but their best kept in the shade. The arse will get a stuffing on the 8th, their scoring record will come to an end. Then on the 11th toffees wil be put up them (hopefully one scouse team can play some decent football) and the title won't need to leave OT.

Actually, I'm sure we'd end your unbeaten away record (unless Fergie rests too many), but I don't trust a Scouser to do a man's job.

Heh heh heh. Gettin' scared sister? <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

The problem with United this year was Ferguson's arrogant insistence on continuin with that ridiculous formation that saw Van Cheatelrooy the lone striker in front of Paul Scholes, and not addressing his rearguard deficiencies.

While you lot were saying how shiite Sol Campbell was, he's dropped the poundage and played remarkably well for us.

Let's face it, our defence might be old, but it is simply echelons better than yours. You have one decent defender - Laurent Blanc. Gary Neville is dependable, but that's about it. I think Neville would be the only one that would make it into Arsenal's back 4.

Let's face it, Lauren and Neville are approximate equals. The great thing for us was, when we didn't have Adams, we had Keown, when he was down, we had Upson, Luzhny, hell, even Stepanovs came in and was a reasonable stop gap.

All you have is that poof Wes Brown. God damn, he's gotta be gay.

Didn't Sol Campbell and teammate Stefan Freund (both girlfriend-less) move into the same house recently?

You're one to talk, Pot. Aren't you the same team that has Thierry "I confess I used to dive, but not anymore! honest" Henry and Patrick Vieria?
Behave yourself.

I was very amused by Lanesra`s posting - obviously not a Red Devil and writes with all the logic of Arsene Whinger sitting near the touchline saying he `didn`t see anything`.

Just how relevant is it to `discuss` a topic about why Arsenal won`t win the title at Old Trafford by making assertions such as `Wes Brown is gay`. Even if that were true which it most likely is not, what has that got to do with the topic I started?

As for Sol Campbell - I have often looked at Gooners` discussion boards and when Arsenal were interested in Sol, most of the comments were hysterical tirades about his rumoured sexuality (some of them very, very bigoted). Then when Arsenal bought him, most of the comments were along the lines of `Spurs scum - it`s all a set-up of Sol, rumour mongering, slander,` etc. Oh and the same people were also obsessed with Marc Overmar`s sexuality.

So don`t come onto this board with your nonsense about Sol - we don`t care if he is gay, bisexual, trisexual or whatever. And attempting to slag Wes Brown by asserting he is gay is about as relevant on this board as deconstructing the differences in the original Old Testament texts and how similar they are to the ancient Sumerian texts - that is, not one whit.

I hope you can understand this. Maybe not.

Yeah, Tom Cruise was married, so what?
I don't care what his sexual leanings are, it just seemed a bit strange of that girl to slate Wes Brown for being a poof, with Sol in the Arsenal team.
Great player, though, who has been fantastic for the Gunners after a slow start.

Hi Charlies Devils,if I am the girl you are referring to please read my post again! I was actually making the point to the Gooner that I could not understand why he was calling Wes a `poof` and how in fact that happened to be relevant to anything!

If you are referring to my post, please read again!

Its fuuny how the gunners forget that we tharshed Deportivo, a teqm that used Valeron in the hole and thrashed them home and a away. Do they really think that if we play to our strengths that Giggs would not destroy them?
Whats more the last time we played 4-4-2 against them we hit them for six? And about being 2 stes ahead of them, has Aresnal ver been as close as we are to take the championship after loosing the games we have ? NAH!

Even Forlan will score :p <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

5-1 to the Mancs.
Down with the Whibger abd his gooners!
Besides. Chealsea will stop your double!
