SO are we THAT bad then I've many disparaging remarks regarding how small we are and how 'huge ' you are and how dare we consider ourselves 'rivals' of you

I'd say currently and historically we ARE very much rivals of yours . Of course geographically Liverpool will always be massive rivals and City being up the road .

However I think we are a little better than you'd care to admit and I think this trophy haul is pretty impressive allowing for you huge financial resources .

Liverpool of course, but I'd say we are in there too

well, to clarify first, i did not say the arse is not a big club. In fact, based on history and championships, we are almost on par.though stadium wise,you are clearly not. :D
that means, rivals. i would never say the arse is not a big rival of ours, in fact they are one of our biggest rivals. But however, lotsa people will never really consider arsenal to be a "great" club unless you lot won the champs' league. and for most of the past few seasons, you lot have flatter to deceive in europe, though domestically, you all always ran us close. All in all, i dun belittle you gooners, but i wun consider u lot "great" yet.

Yea sure Arsenal is good. Your team has been at the top of the table,dropped and been back on top. This proves how fickle it all is depending on how everyone plays.Boasting about what your team has one, much of it in recent years (meaning the last 15 years or less, not taking away however the stuff won by Arsenal before many here were born.) as a way to justify that your team is better than United is really no way to justify it at all. They are two unique teams with amazing history. Doesn't matter though. What matter is on the pitch at 12:15 p.m., 7 December. That is what will tell the story in the end.

According to most of you on here football records started being kept in 1992 .

How come you're a bit reluctant to include 74 - 92 !?

Don't that fit in with the 'mighty United programm of the 90's ?

Humility .... look it up .

Respect for other teams achievements : You may also have a look at that while you are there .

I have never denied the fact we were shit in the 1970's/80's. But you started off with the point that we are in decline because we haven't won anything for 18 months.
 
Also, although we were shite in the from 1972-1992, i seem to remember a couple of FA cups and a Cup Winners Cup victory thrown in there.
 
the Arse have always been domestic contenders, but as the Capital's premier team for over a 100 years, you'd perhaps expect a better overall record, particulary in Europe.
