Anybody follow snooker here?
Ronnie O'Sullivan won the semi-final today in the final frame by clearing up with a 147 maximum break. It was great play and he had to work for it at the start but reflecting back on it, it never looked in doubt. He's brilliant to watch when he gets in and splits the reds, his own quick yet elegant style, unlike any before him is great to watch. It wasn't his best of matches and he had to dig deep but he ended a great comeback, from 3nil and 6-3 down in a best of 17, to win it in the deciding frame with a maximum break.

When he is on form and firing he is just a complete joy to watch. He pulls out such hard shots making them look ridiculously easy and of course in rapid time. One of the greats in Snooker already, everybody loves him, I guess you have to really its like Ronaldo, you will get entertainment and moments of magic.
However, as with many other sportsmen and people he has that one flaw with his mentality. He walked out of this tournament last year and again today was finding it extremely tough (helped through by the spoon!) but unlike normally he dug deep and got the win. Could this be a turning point for him?
He has had both easy and hard matches so far in this tournament and the final is tomorrow - I wonder how things will turn out...

It was his eighth maximum break in competition, equalling Stephen Hendry's record.
O'Sullivan will now play Stephen Maguire in Sunday's final as he targets a fourth UK title.
"My snooker wasn't great, but I've cheated in a way," he said. "We've played 16 poor frames, but everyone is going to talk about the 147.
"I took a shortcut. I'd much rather have won 9-3 and played a solid game of snooker, but at least I've given the crowd something to smile about.
"He had the upper hand, he's a tough player and a tough competitor. I was losing it midway at 6-3 down, I was struggling out there, but I had to find a way of staying focused."
O'Sullivan revealed he did so by counting spots on the side of a spoon.
"There were 108 dots on either side, and I was counting them in twos and threes," he explained. "It was my little mental exercise.
