Jamie Cope knocked Peter Ebdon out of the Royal London Watches Grand Prix in a match that ended in bizarre fashion.

Ebdon needed two snookers in the final frame but after getting them he was snookered himself and dropped to the ground in despair in Glasgow.

Cope managed to finally close out a 5-4 victory in a game which had already seen Ebdon react angrily after missing the final green as he went for a 147.

Nutter.

And that's just not snooker...

Ronny knocked out by Trump, how old is this kid?

About 19 or 20. I don't know much about the lad and didn't get to see the match. Must be good but still no doubt it was Ronnie being Ronnie as well.

A clip of a snooker he was in - don't know how they work these angles and what not out. I don't think I'd ever be able to pull that off.

Actually while I was watching that I saw this clip which shows the end of the match: 4-4 and Ronnie misses a red leaving Trump to clear up. He's 19.

Anyway Higgins has won the title in the end beating Ryan Day. Always liked him as a player, decent fella, and that's his 19th title in all.
