Latest wrasslin' game. Anyone got it or played it? I bought it for X-Box 360 and I'm really enjoying it. I read reviews last year that '08 wasn't so hot so I didn't bother but I do like this one.

It probably has every single match type you can think of, plenty of characters to choose from, lots of unlockables and the best career mode I've played. You can select from about 6 wrestlers to do 'Road to Wrestlemania', each has unique story-lines which can go in various directions depending on your decisions. I've played as HHH, I refereed an Orton vs. HBK title match and the winner is the person I align with to reform Evolution/DX. Naturally, I chose the latter. For the next few weeks there's amusing promos etc. Really rather good.

You got it? I'd like to know how it stands up against the console versions. How are graphics etc?

Does it have create-a-finisher? This feature is amazing. In 10 steps you can design a finisher for your created wrestler, as many lifts and slams in that time as you want pretty much. Can be very funny as well if you make it ridiculously extravagant.

Graphics are PS2-esque. It apparently has the "Create-a-finisher" option but I haven't checked. I can't say how well it compares to the console versions because I have not played a wrestling game on the PS3 or 360.

I was hooked to the Road to Wrestlemania mode before I realised that I only had 4 days left to study for my exams. I only have 3 more. What I do know is that the game is ridiculously easy on Normal mode and other than some of the newer bells and whistles (reversals and submission holds), it feels like the old PS2 games, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

It's worse than 2008 and the graphics haven't been improved at all... waste of money for whoever is thinking in to buying this horrible game.

I didn't play '08 (thought '07 was ok), but I've read it's much improved, hence me opting to get this one. I'm happy with it.

No Mercy, now what a game that was. I played this for hours and hours, editing, creating, struggling to beat HHH at Wrestlemania in career mode! The roster at that time was amazing too.

Is the story mode any good? Also if it's online can you have a 6 man hell in a cell matches with 6 different players?

I'm not as big a WWE fan as I was, but keep in the loop. It's really good, particularly for the casual fan.

Story mode is really good. There's a career which you can do with anyone or Road to Wrestlemania, where you pick 1 of 6 wrestlers to guide to the title. It has promos, backstage stuff and the story goes in different directions depending on your decisions. I was impressed by this.

I don't play online, so can't answer that one. I'd imagine you can though.
