Slight profile problem

When I click on my profile, It seems to take me to another user named 'Sam'. Not a massive problem, but I'd be quite nice if it could be fixed.

Naturally, I'm assuming that this is all noodle's fault.

It's because of the vBSEO URL settings. I think there's a fix but I can't remember what it is ATM.

Yes, it's because of that # which is an unsafe character in urls.

It's odd, because when sending him a PM using his userid everything is fine, yet when you use his userid with member.php it still fecks up.

What Elvis is saying is that when you have anyone with two similar usernames, and one is using a non-valid url character to differentiate, the problem will occur again. As Olly said, it's something in the settings, but only Niall can get at them.

Sam#1 is now Sam so his problem is solved and nobody else will be able to sign up as Sam.

I agree that this does not solve the problem of using a non-valid url characters in usernames.

But that is an issue for someone far beyond my pay scale.
