Slight forum change.

Now i was thinking [dangerous i know], that we might be able to make better use of the General category on the board.

You may remember that i have asked once or twice to see if there could be a Travel and Culture forum added to the site. As things stand the Entertainment Forum attracts around 15-30 viewers on average throughout a day, and hardly infrequently threads that belong in there will crop up in the General anyway.

Could we not change its name to wider brief of Travel and Culture, with sub-forums for both Computing/Consoles? The main area for being travel and culure more generally.

I think the Entertainment forum stands on its own two feet these days

I like the idea Nick but i would seriously doubt theres enough traffic for it

I guess the name of the entertainment forum could be changed to a broader category to include travel and culture. No need for a subforum though. Nick, why not start a few threads and we'll see how much interest is generated.

I like the Entertainment Forum, discussion's usually sane in there as long as it's not FIFA/PES/PS3/XB360 related or a taste-in-music argument. It separates the consoles and television programs and such-like from the rather more eccentric threads in the general.

Apologies for not responding sooner, had this bug that brings on the most annoying coughing fits.



Anyway, i suppose that you could come at it from the other PoV, with Travel beign the subforum and Culture being the all-encompassing title for everything.

I'll do as mehor suggestscontinue to start travel related topics in the General, so as to gauge the level of interest. Though don't worry, i'm not going to spam the place and start threads merely for the sake of it.
