9pm? fecking bastards.

Cracking gig, Prodigy and Oasis were quality.

How'd you get down Tron?

Glad you had a great time, me & the missus did too but the disgrace of gettin home was dangerous. There was Dublin Bus's travelling back to Dublin with no-one on them, and thousands of people walking 10km or more to find there was no bus to take them home - after paying for the return journey!

Also, I been told that many people slept in ditches & petrol stations - thats not right & especially for girls to be doing that, when there was alot of scumbags around. feckin disgraceful way to treat fun-loving people out for a goodtime

I heard it was a disgrace of a gig. My brother said there were gaps of an hour between each act and it was over by 10.30. Loads of complaints about it on the radio right now, people getting in with no tickets etc

Went there about 15 years ago to see REM (Oasis supported them that day actually).... great gig but probably the worst organisation at a gig I've ever seen... swore I'd never go back there and haven't since.

We had a great day. feck all checks for tickets and bags (although I got my usual search!!! Still got bottle of vodka in. Not sure about the gaps between the acts didnt see anything out of the ordinary. The was a big enough break before Oasis in heinsight

Surprise surprise I havent heard the media mention the massive crush at the top bar. It was closed for an hour afterwards. Me and 2 others right in the thick of it. Had to get lifted out of queue missed some of the prodigy. Got pretty serious and of course the pricks organising it did nothing. Luckily Im not exactly a small lad! Various other reasons are being blamed for the closure but trust me they are all lies!!!! I got to speak to the head logistics guy who in the end said its too late to change anything

The way home was a disaster, an utter disgrace. However again its being reported arse ways. Dublin Bus are in NO WAY responsible. Promoters and Gardai didnt co-ordinate and gave different directions to everyone. This eventually caused a sit down protest which in turn stopped full buses leaving the venue. I was back at a party by 1am and in bed by 8am. 12 of my friends got a private bus paid 60bills a head and got home at 6am.

Worst thing this is alot of these problems happened at the Stones 2 years ago but they choose an identical format and layout.

Also I think I left my arse in slane, I might aswell have wore a nappy today. Anyone got any sudocream :nervous: ?

I got a bottle of Southern Comfort in too. Cracking day though. Kasabian were good, Prodigy was good aswell, but I saw them thursday night in Cork and they were better. Indoors in a smaller enviroment would always suit the prodigy though. Seen Oasis a few times now, and they never dissapoint. Great night.
