He asked me to ask you(mods) if there is anyway he can come back here? He wants to start some new polls and stuff and he promised to behave himself.

I'm not ignoring this, I just don't know what to put

It's doubtful the other mods are going to like the idea

Plus, I'm in charge of the polls around here. Well, sort of
 
So what's the story with this Slabber bloke? He's the only member I've seen who's profile has completely been removed.
 
He was a regular poster on here before and has his own fair share of worshippers around him. A quite funny but sensitive bloke who decides to call it a day here after some spastic caf elections that didn't went the way he wanted it to be conducted, i think. It was fecking hilarious even just thinking about it. Fancy him getting all wound and tied up in the virtual world.

I had a go at him once when i first joined. And he didn't like it :lol:
 
I miss all the spurs WUM that aimed at him

Nway, he's the one who recommended me for promotion, so I'd say take him back. Just to be nice :D
 
IMO there are too many liverpool fans in this forum, whereas Tottenham and Newcastle supporters are under-represented. Of course, this is a forum for United fans, but I enjoy learning from football loving people with different perspectives

Slabber is a die-hard, match-going Spurs fan, so it may be good to have him back for the sake of diversity. A couple of scousers can be banned instead. :D

He is no worse then the scousers on here.

He is a great laugh, if you can't take his wind ups then it's you who should feck off and not him.

Plus I need to remind him about Australia's dominance in this years Ashes.
 
There are a few more issues I suspect.

I really liked Slabber. But he did constantly push the envelope and didn't take it well when we didn't moderate as he saw fit. He was eventually banned more for the cumulative effect of his high maintenance posting style rather than one incident. After he was banned he asked to be deleted which we did (we don't do this any more).

Since moving to the other place a great deal has been said and done that might make it impossible for him to return. Not really for me to say since I wasn't the target but I would think that 3-5 mods would be strongly against and few if any in support of a return.
 
The guy was incapable of following rules - he got banned around 6 times I think and never took any advice from the mods about behaving - he thought he was a law until himself and after the elections went a tad mental . Best for all that he went
 
For what its woth, id like to see him back too...funny guy
 
He offered me some decent jurisprudential advice on a number of occasions, and would definitely liven up the General. Top Bloke.

He also called me a cretin, messed about with my tagline, and gets very upset when people don't agree with him. cnut.
 
Please let him back, but please don't let him create any polls of any description, for the sake of his own sanity.

He was going down the route of a league format that would run throughout the season... poster vs. poster...
 
Bring him back whoever he is. All this gay retrospective bullshit is turning noodle on.
 
I'd like to see him back.

Some moderators would say no - perhaps largely due to them not liking things that were said and done at the 'other place'.

Thicker skins are desperately needed in some cases.
 
From what I've read, Slabber was a class poster.

And we do need more Spurs fans. :)
 
Good old Slabber, he was a spurs supporting nobend, but bring him back I say ! He had some good posts. :)

Re. Slabber: He was one the reason why I started to read the nonsense from people in the General. At the moment I rarely visits the non-football-related-forums.
But the general just seems happier/funnier/more active when the old posters comes back - like when Spoony returned or the brief visits from Big Andy.
Though Slabber might have the opposite effect seeing as he's pissed off half of the mods.
