Rumour has it that all those 11:30 morning kick offs at Old Trafford which inconvience me and many other fans, is apparently for the benefit of the people in China\Hong Kong and such places around the world so they don't have to stay up till early hours of the morning to watch it . . .

Aye, stop whingeing and come and join us.
I love the early kick offs as they start between 7.30 & 9 on a Saturday evening so are perfect for having a few beers watching the match and a meal afterwards. The 3 o clocks start at 11 or 12 so require a bar with longer hours and a small fortune to pay the baby sitter for sleeping on our sofa, either that or you have to cut your Saturday night short and spend the one night off sat on the sofa into the wee small hours.
I'd love the inconvenience of having to set off at 6 in the morning to reach OT for a match these days, better than having to get up at 4am to watch the Champions League and function at work the next day anyhoos.
Seriously though, the money that the PL rakes in from TV revenues through Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Nam, Malaysia, Indonesia etc with TV audiences in the 100s of millions is not to be sniffed at. United as a club realised this earlier than most and have benefitted even more from it through merchandising which has put us in a financial position unparalleled in world football such that we can now dream of signing Ronaldos and Verons and can live with the wages and transfer fees that the modern game commands.
Football's not just a local game any more and clubs like United can fire the imagination of fans from Manchester to Malaysia and from Essex to East Timor, if I were close enough to get into the ground each week on a budget that the family could stand then I would be there but until I win the lottery, wages rise significantly and the weather improves in the UK or I move somewhere closer to home then it's a pint of Boddies in front of the telly in the local club and cheers to early kick offs.

Dont know where you heard that rumour mate but I reckon your wrong.
In most of the 11:30/noon kick off matches its the local police who order the match to be played early so we cant go to the pub and get pissed up before the games.
ie Liverpool/Leeds and C**y etc

Didn't mean to make it like a whinge, I love getting up (well infact as some of you know Im on here posting to my self until I leave at 4 in the morning <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> ) - Kinda hypes me up for the game, I enjoy it, give it that other wise I wouldn't do it, just that I was told that it was for the convience of the people out in the far east and obviously theres the policing that Stoned.Rose mentioned that I already knew about...

I know I know, Im not a fan of coaches, but its the only way to get around cheaply - yeah I get annoyed with them, but they're not all that bad I suppose
