aparently FX still own rights to The Wire and True Blood, neither of which can be shown on Sky's own channels

Great news, HBO are a class above in their programming, so many brilliant shows.

They also didn't cancel The Wire even though it had diabolical ratings, so I forgive them. They're a cut above every other network in the world with their original programming

The Wire had a ridiculously low budget. Deadwood(and Rome) were ridiculously expensive.
