What's the deal with this then? Do you just pay for the box and that's it? Or does your Sky subscription increase?

Have seen some Sky Plus boxes pretty cheap on eBay, y'see.

You cant just buy a box to replace a standard box.

sky + has a 2 cable feed.

Unless of course you can wire it up yourself.

It was £10 per month when it first came out, its free now

We have one downstairs, flipping brilliant. Just waiting on the aerial feller getting free and he is installing it in my room. Only costs and extra £10 a month.

They wont give it to me... no phone line in the house :( bastards!

Sky+ is bitching, we recently got it, it's definitely free for the first year anyway, and there's supposed to be a subscription fee after that but I think Sky are stopping it.

i personally think it is better unless you count the whole no sky one thing, and a lack of hd content

use sky+ when i go to my parents house, and it just doesnt feel as good, and the on demand content is pathetic in comparison

Don't make me laugh, better than Sky? I've used both and wouldn't own anything other than Sky, infact it's not even a contest imo.

I couldn't live without Sky+

recording, pausing and re-winding live TV is fantastic
