Happy Birthday.

Sir Matt,
You came to then Manchester's second team with idea's and hopes, you'd played for both City and Liverpool, this clubs greatest rivals, but then was a different time. Your vision helped inspire the club, a new ground was built after the ravages of war, a new team full of youth destined for greatness inspired a generation. You rebuilt the club once more after the horrors of Munich, to become the greatest club side in Europe, and still you continued.

You were a gentleman, with time for others, even once you'd retired people still sought your wisdom. You passed away and went to the heavenly Old Trafford before some of the clubs greatest triumphs, but we know you are looking down upon us. So Sir Matt, get the boys together, all of them and have a small party tonight, enjoy your 100th birthday, but be sure to be prepared to party long and hard tomorrow night.

Happy Birthday
Sir Matt

Sir Matt Busby

He was not just a football manager, but a visionary, and a founding father of the modern game having led British football into Europe.

He also achieved so much success despite losing his best to the Munich tragedy - winning five titles, 2 FA Cups, and the European Cup.

I don't think words adequately do justice to describe this great man. All I can say is without you Sir Matt, there would be non of what is going on today.

I will drink a fine scotch to your memory.

Happy Birthday Sir Matt!

A true gentleman and a football legend. You'll never be forgotten by this club or it's fans.

This post describes accurately what Sir Matt actually means to this club.

Happy 100th Birthday! Sir Matt Busby!

Lets hope we honour the great man in the perfect way tomorrow. He was a visionary who led us into Europe and established our club's principles and here we are again in the Champions League Final. Lets win it for honour and glory!
