Just to let you know that since the servicing of the caf the other week I have not been able to use any of the buttons on the new thread/reply post windows:

Fonts
Size
Colour
Smillies
Attachments.

I use an Apple Mac G4 and Internet Explorer.

I had no problems prior to the service.

Dear Mods,

Previously after typing a long post, one finds himself logged out when trying to post. It wasn't a big issue before, as I was able to go a page back and copy what I typed. But now when I go back the post box is empty.

Any ideas?

Sincerely Yours,
Abbs

Sorry, please ignore the above as I think I may have found the asnwer.

Apart from spending your entire life exchanging opinions in a variety of fonts with people you don't know.......cockbiscuit. Get some mates and a new head. Merry Christmas all. Particularly Plech and Slabber.

go into the User CP select Options
scroll down to the bottom of the page to Miscellaneous Options / Message Editor Interface
set your options to standard editor- extra formatting controls

And the Caf works ok on IE.

It just ignore the new lines I put in, and I can't select the smilies or the post formating tools such as bold and thing.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees.

It was a stupid AdBlock extension to Firefox that had blocked some scripts off the Caf.

Sorted now.

Don't blame the tool. You're the one that tells Adblock what to block. :p

I accidentally told it what to block...stupid thing.

And now I've got the Caf banner back aswell.

The whole thing's worse now

Half the time I click a thread, it doesn't open properly...half of it opens, and it won't allow me to reply

It's rubbish

Well done spazzers
You have to wait the page loads entirely. It seems it takes more time than usual to fetch the data from the database.
