'tis a silly place
----------- Carroll -----------

Phil - OShea -- Larry - Silvestre

Becks -- Butt -- Keane -- Giggs

-------- Ole --- Ruud --------

We need to start offering the back-line more protection imo. If Butt plays (lets face it, hes been better than any of our midfielders at the tail-end of last season and was superb in the World Cup) he can add a bit of steel to our line-up, as well as giving Keane a chance of express himself. Cant wait.

Squads:

Manchester United (from): Carroll, P Neville, Silvestre, Blanc, O'Shea, Beckham, Keane, Veron, Giggs, van Nistelrooy, Solskjaer, Williams, Butt, Scholes, Stewart, Tierney, Pugh, Webber.

West Brom (from): Hoult, Murphy, Balis, Butler, Clement, Gilchrist, Moore, Sigurdsson, Johnson, Jordao, McInnes, Wallwork, Gregan, Dichio, Dobie, Roberts, Taylor.

Will be interesting to see what reception Wallwork gets from the OT crowd.

What about 3-5-1-1 and then you could have juan nicky and scholesy playing.

This Nicky "injury" has not been reported anywhere else, so it is either an extremely minor injury or complete bullshit. ;)

Butt missing may not be such a problem anyway against an attack as stale as Albions. Scholes would be my bet to play in Butts absence, but I still think Ferguson will go with his instinct and play Nicky.
