Some great films there: Coen's 'Raising Arizona', 'The Big Lebo' and 'No Country for Old Men'

While the Scotts have: 'Alien', 'Bladerunner', Thelma & Louise', 'Gladiator' and 'Top Gun'.

It's close, but Ridley puts the Scotts over the top. Bladerunner was revolutionary and Gladiator is classic. One you didnt mention that I enjoyed by the Coen bros was O Brother Where Art Thou?

Ridley scott runs away with it, v his brother and the Coens really.
I mean Alien is a good shout for best film ever imho.

You can't really argue with the Ridley Scott list but you may as well have left Tony Scott out to be honest. It's a tough decision but I love the big Lebowdski and O Brother - The Coen Bros just pip it for me.

I didn't really rate O, Brother. I thought Raising Arizona was miles better. Fargo and Barton Fink were quite good too.

Ridley Scott has some incredible films but the Coen's win this one. At least seven films there of the highest quality, I'd say Ridley has three
