Should Fergie offer Ronny another contract

Ronny Johnsen had been to Schalke on trial after he turned down a 1 year contract offer from Utd but Schalke have said after his trial period his is not required.
Could this be the answer to our injured defensive line in the short term im sure if he was offered a contract again he would take it as he is not being flooded with offers
 
So we sign him and he gets injured after 30 minutes. We already know the story. Ronny's a great player but his never ending injuries have made it impossible for United to count on him.
 
I still can't see United offering him a two year contract -- he's injured more than Wes!

So there would be no real advantage.

And if we dont and another defender gets injured play Fred the red in defense ;) but if we do sign him and he is over his injuries he would be a vital member with rio and wes out.
Dont forget had he put pen to paper he would be there this season

Whether we offered him a new deal or not has not been confirmed by the club, but Fergie obviously decided to move forward and leave Johnsen behind.

Rio may not be fit for Saturday but he SHOULD be fit for the next match, while Gary Neville can't be too far from coming back and if we get Escude, we should be ok.

Ronny's never going to be over his injuries. We hoped for it for three years but it ain't gonna happen. He isn't unlucky, like poor Wes is with a broken bone, he's just injury prone.
