There are 10 types of people in the world: Those w
Shoaib and Asif injured or are they being left behind so they don't have to face drug tests at the World Cup? I know which I reckon it is which begs th question. If the Pakistani cricket board fear the two players won't pass a drugs test then why aren't those players tested in pakistan and the banned from the game? Maybe I'm just being too cynical.

Every man and his wife knows Asif and Shoaib still have nandrolone in them and that is the only reason they're not in the world cup. That's a no brainer.

The question the PCB are asking is: "So, whatcha gonna do about it?"

They both played and got injured during the recent SA series, subsequently sent to UK for tests/surgery, everything else is just pure speculation, especially so because Pakistan are concerned.

It's a real shame, with Brett Lee and Symonds also missing, leaves the WC missing some world class performers.

Are these what's known as 'diplomatic' injuries?

I was hoping we'd never see these two cheating cnuts again.

This whole thing stinks to high heaven.

They've still got the drugs and don't want to be banned(for real) now when the tests happen during the tournament.

I never understood why they weren't banned in the first place.

They got caught with nandrolone in their system so are both cheaters and should be banned for life. Akhtar and Asif are a disgrace to the game of cricket and have tainted Pakistans reputation as a cricketing nation. Injury or not I am over the moon that we won't be seeing either of these two at the world cup, as are most cricketing fans around the globe.

But thats rubbish isn't it Sults...every man and his dog knows what the problem is.

Noone likes to see this in cricket, less so with Pakistan and all the troubles they've had recently.

I'm still backing them for the cup though.
