It's nice to rub in the 18 for now, but eventually we'll move on to bigger and better things (like #19) so I'd leave it up for a month or so and then change it back.

Maybe some people are afraid of this haunting us back. But if someone else achieve 18 too, then fair play to them. We will say 'well done' no doubt. Maybe some people say this sounds arrogant. But football is all about winning trophies (unless you're a City fans pre-arab era). We strive to win each and every one of those title. Credit is where credit due. 18 is exactly what is associated with United at the moment, so why not?

The biggest problem with it is the scouser's recent discovery of 3/4ths of a title under the cushions behind the back of their sofa.
So now we've got to start digging around for our very own 3/4ths of a title or we're still not on par.
Leave the current one for a month or so, then take the 18 off but leave the trophy and the dates behind it. I like it, it looks classy (except for the 18). Although we'll then have to decide when do we remove the trophy - at the start of next season, or do we carry it right on through to when we are no longer the champions (hopefully many, many seasons in the future)?
