Roma are now level on points with Chievo but I think Chievo have better goal differance - Roma are +0.

Suedesi, would you say Parma or Fiorentina are in serious danger of going down to Serie B?

I believed Fiorentina would do well but of course with Rui Costa and Batistuta both long gone and Nuno Gomez about to leave, added to of course their financial problems, it seems Fiorentina are a shadow of their former selves and could well be stranded in Serie B for a few years unless a Mohammed Al Fayed type character bought them.

As for Parma, with Thuram gone I still thought they had a good chance for Champions' League qualification, but now I still think they will get to the UEFA Cup.

Mark my words, Fiorentina will not be playing Serie A football next season - are they still in the Italian Cup?

Just seen Roma's winning goal against Milan.

A real sickener, not the way I would like to lose a big game by, mistakes all the way.

An AC Milan player gave the ball away 35 yards away from goal. Picked up by a Roma player, he threaded the ball to Totti, who was left in acres of space.

He shot soft and tame - it may have picked up a deflection - and looked straight for the Goalkepper.

But amazingly the keeper fumbled it in. I am sure he got a roasting at half-time.

Now Roma are level on Chievo I think they will win it.
It is still early days but Chievo will bot hang on till May and Inter Milan look like the only team capable of beating Roma at the moment.

Parma also lost Buffon and Cannavaro. What was once a very strong defensive team has been totally dismantled.

If they keep stealing games like the last three ones (3 consecutive own goals), we'll have to eliminate them with rifles. Bleah...

You know everything is possible.

Fiorentina have huge financial problems, but at least the lads are fighting tooth and nail even tho they haven't gotten paid in 6 months+. I think they'll make it.

Parma have financial problems as well, coupled with psychological problems. The sale of Buffon, Thuram, Amoruso indicates that they had financial problems; also the players probably believe that they won't win anything with the club, so hence the dip in form. I think Parma is more likely than Fiorentina to play in Serie B next year.

Chievo Verona lost a couple of important point due to ref decisions such as a ridiculous penalty to sheva and an offside goal to inzaghi in their 3-2 loss @ AC Milan; a dubious penalty in their 3-2 loss @ Juventus; and some dubious calls in their other loss to verona 3-2.

Roma on the other hand have played shittily all season long, but they been pretty fortunate (as Piersifal pointed out their last 3 wins came from deflected shots). I think Roma will be there until the end, but I'm not that convinced by them.

Inter have a decent chance this year. Cuper's a great coach, and I expect them to win it soon. Milan will probably make the CL. Juve will depend on whether they buy a genuine playmaker or not. Lazio are not the force they used to be anymore.

My pick: Chievo!!!

You're just milking it, taking the piss out of Parma's financial trouble. They'll ham(mer) someone soon, mark it in your dairy!!!

They probaly will after firing Passarella, and letting Canavarro go. Too little too late.
