It seems like normal service is resumed in Serie A not just the Premiership, with Chievo slipping away.
To be fair, they did well to get so far and they are a credit to their supporters but now their confidence must be dented and I would be suprised to see them earn a Champions' League spot, though it is not impossible, we could see another Ipswich Town situation.
When will Lazio Supporters get fed up? They have spent masses of money over the years and 6th place is simply not good enough, they must be preparing an ultimateum after todays result.

Di Vaios' goal was impressive.
How many goals has he scored so far for Parma this year? I heard he was having trouble getting in to the First Team earlier on in his Parma life.
Parma 2-0 Fiorentina is a big result, I suspect Fiorentina may go down this term. I wouldn't miss them. They have given a good few years of attacking play but after selling Batistuta and Rui Costa they are a far cry from the Champions' League team from 2000.

marco di vaio... 9 goals. It's already posted man.
both parma and fiorentina should go down. that would make my day.

I think Christian Vieri is absolutely superb.
He had been struggling a bit with injuries but has put them behind him and is a quality finisher. I think he is a lot like Ruud van Nistelrooy, both strong and cool finsihers, it will be interesting to see who outscores each other in Japan and South Korea.

I would much rather have Vieri on my side then Ronaldo, and incidently is it true Ronaldo had to be taken off after getting injured for Inter Milan? In that game Vieri scored twice, he and Ronaldo can be a good partnership but it seems Ronaldos' injuries have taken their toll again - I would like to hear the confirmation of this injury.

By the way, goals from Spains' La Liga can be found here : http://www.allgoal.org/eng/europe/spain/es_cham_2002_18.shtml
while goals from Italys' Serie A are here : http://www.allgoal.org/eng/europe/italy/it_cham_2002_16.shtml

They have not got many goals at the moment though.
