Marco Senna has been told he can leave Villarreal this summer - and the Brazilian is keen for a crack at the Premier League.
The 34-year-old came very close to signing for Manchester United before Sir Alex Ferguson dropped his bid at the last minute in favour of Owen Hargreaves back in 2007.
The combative midfielder remained at Villarreal - where he has been since 2002 - but the La Liga club are keen to reinvigorate their squad this summer, with Senna an expected casualty.
His contract expires at the end of this month and he will be available on a free, although he will command high wages.
Shitty then?
